This large Kingman with pyrite inclusions is set in solid sterling silver. It is accented my a plethora of antlers, flora and ball accents. To top off this design is 1-4mm Howlite, 1-4mm Kingman Turquoise, 2-3mm Kingman Turquoise stone accents. The stone is set in a serrated bezel with large roped edging. The overall piece measures roughly 40mm tall and 50mm wide at the widest points. The bolo tie end caps are solid sterling silver and measure 55mm from tip to ends; it is accompanied by a large native bead accent on the bottom that measures 12mm around. The bolo tie cord is an overall 37 inches end to end and hangs 18.5 inches.
Sterling silver can be found soft compared to other base metals to counter this the backing base is made of hardened nickel that is flexible and strong enough to handle the interchangeability of the bolo tie. You can fasten the tie securely at any length you prefer, it can also be taken off the piece and switched to a different colored cord if needed. I do not usually opt for other alternative metals but for the bolo tie it was necessary for the bolo tie!
